Each Kiccorin accessory is carefully handcrafted to reflect the warmth and tranquility of the woods. "Excluding accessories that require metal components such as earrings and piercings, we use no metal at all in the cords and strings of our accessories. Instead, we use only hemp, a natural plant fiber, making them safe and comfortable even for those with metal allergies. For designs where metal is essential, we carefully select materials such as 14k gold or resin to ensure both style and sensitivity." Our hope is that by wearing our jewelry, you’ll feel the soothing embrace of a forest bath, no matter where you are. We use natural Japanese woods such as sugi (cedar) and hinoki (cypress), and each piece is polished by hand using traditional techniques. Some special items feature Yakusugi, a rare and ancient cedar found only on Yakushima Island, or Hawaiian koa wood sourced from ukulele workshops in Hawaii. "Each piece is carefully handwoven with hemp — a natural plant fiber — to highlight and complement the organic texture of the wood. That is the heart of Kiccorin. 𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂃𓂂𖡼.𖤣𖥧𓈒◌܀ 🐿️Artist Profile🐇 Yoko OTOMO Born in Tokyo, Japan, In 2005, my son, who was then a high school student, had been healthy until suddenly falling seriously ill and needing to be hospitalized. During his recovery, inspired by the desire for him to feel the healing effect of a forest bath even within the hospital, I began creating accessories using natural materials. The very first piece I made was a pendant crafted by carefully polishing cedar wood and weaving it with hemp. At first, I had no intention of becoming a professional artist, but thanks to the warm encouragement of those around me, I decided to pursue the path of an accessory creator. Thankfully, my son has since made a full recovery. In August 2025, after many years of creative activity, I launched my official website. Today, I continue to create accessories that honor the natural textures of materials while bringing new ideas to life. I have also developed a mobile accessory called “Kiccoring” that helps reduce exposure to electromagnetic waves, and have applied for a patent. Creating accessories that care for the heart and body every day, with ongoing efforts to explore new forms of creativity.
